WE DIDN'T do much that night. I made some sandwiches in the evening and we shared a couple of beers and watched another movie. Beck called his parents to let them know he was staying over with a friend. He seemed as nervous as I was when we went to my room and undressed, and we spent a long time kissing and cuddling, neither of us hard. I worried that he expected me to try to fuck him, and he was tense and jumpy as if he was worried about me doing it. I didn’t tell him how I felt and he didn’t say anything either. I idly stroked his chest as we lay together, twirling a few hairs around my finger. When I brushed over a stiffened nipple, he caught my hand and moved it to his waist.

“Pack it in. You’re gonna get me hard again.”

“That’s a bad thing?”

“I’m too tired. I’ll be ready when I wake up though.” He laughed softly and kissed my shoulder. I opened my mouth to protest, but yawned instead.

“Mm, me too.” I closed my eyes and just held him. The thud of his heart under my palm lulled me to sleep, and my last thought before I slipped away was that I was falling for him. I wanted him to be mine, no matter what anybody else might say when they found out.
